Supermoon total eclipse (9/27/15)
Unfortunately, the eclipse had already reached totality by the time the supermoon rose over the horizon. Even more unfortunately, the cloud cover only cleared up as totality ended. Nevertheless, I did get off several good shots. This is a composite of 3 sets of 5 images each, captured at ISO6400, f/11, 0.5s with a Canon 6D, a Kenko 2x teleconverter, and the Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS. (NB: 2s exposures were too fuzzy, and 1s exposures were fine also.)
